Follow up time! I was the one asking for audition monologues for The Crucible, and I actually ended up auditioning with a piece from Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's "Inherit the Wind." After a grueling three days of auditioning and callbacks, I can happily report that I have been cast as Ezekiel Cheever. While I was gunning for Hale (and according to my professor/director made quite the fight of it) I red Cheever perfectly and was cast as such.
